WCSH Sports Director and Broadcaster Bruce Glasier Dies at Age 69 [VIDEO]

Sad news this morning. Long time WCSH sports broadcaster Bruce Glasier has died after a battle with lung cancer. 

I grew up watching Bruce like so many other people in Maine. In the days before the internet, smart phones, NESN and ESPN, Bruce was the authority on sports. Not every Red Sox game was on TV so Bruce was who you relied on to see highlights.

He and Bill Green hosted a sports show called Sports Overtime that I would never miss as a kid because it was as funny as it was informative.

He was "often imitated but never duplicated" and a legend in Maine Broadcasting
