Why do people find it important to set world records? 78-year-old Shridhar Chillal in Maharashtra, India just set a world record for THE grossest thing ever!!

He's been growing the nails on his left hand since 1952, when he was 14 years old. The five of them combined are 358.1 inches, or an average of about SIX FEET each. Meanwhile, he cuts the nails on his right hand all the time, so they're a totally normal length.
