Working on Making a Standish Community Dog Park
The goal is to have a fenced-in, off-leash dog park where dogs and dog lovers have a place to go.
Sandra Boutin is working on a safe, well-maintained environment for recreation and socialization. They want to promote responsible canine care to Standish area residents and visitors who will follow the park's rules. There is a need in the area for a multi-generational park activity for pets and their people that will be a complement to the town's existing recreation areas. It will be a positive presence in the community and encourage recreation through the dog park.

Dogs have been a life saver through this Covid craziness. This park will be amazing! But the fundraising is constant. There is a virtual fun dog walk happening this Saturday! It starts at 5am and ends at 8pm. Just take a picture of your walk and share it on the Standish Rec page or on their Facebook page! Any donation that you can make helps make this park a reality!
