York, Maine Adult Education Now Offering Star Wars 101 Class

It's not uncommon to see cooking or crafting courses, musical instrument lessons, health classes, and more. One class that was recently added to the York, Maine adult education offerings comes from a galaxy far, far away.
Star Wars 101
Star Wars has captivated multiple generations since A New Hope came out in 1997. The universe has only grown throughout the decades with new projects still to be released. There are movies, books, cartoons, and streaming series. For fans the Star Wars universe is truly immersive, for others, all the content can be intimidating. Where should one start? What is the Empire? Resistance? Republic? Sith? The Force? Jedi? Midichlorians? It can be a lot to keep track of. But the ongoing impact on pop culture cannot be ignored.
Instructor Robert Underwood will be your Yoda for Star Wars 101: Crash Course at York Middle School every Wednesday for 4 weeks beginning January 19th and finishing on February 9th.
This course is for folks of all levels of interest in Star Wars. Underwood will lead students into a deep dive into the saga, the impact on pop culture, and celebrate all that is Star Wars.
