Planet Dog’s 10th Annual Woofminster Sunday September 13th!

I have never been to Planet Dog's 'Woofminster' because, well...I've never had a dog. Now I have an excuse and her name is Casco. Join me on Sunday September 13th at Deering Oaks 1:00-4:00pm. Oh, and it's free!

Planet Dog is celebrating their 10 year anniversary with a new format at a new venue...Deering Oaks Park. Don't worry, it's all the same fun events, plus much, much more!

The Woofminster Doggie Carnival is an afternoon celebration of the dogs of our community, and the people who love them. Like previous years, they will bring back the favorites:

• Musical Dog Beds
• The Cover Dog Challenge
• The 50-Paw Dash

But there will also be a bounce house for the kids, a caricature artist, a food truck, and more. And best of all, admission is FREE! We will be selling event tickets and raffle entries to raise money for Embrace a Vet’s Paws for Peace program, which helps military veterans with PTSD get and train service dogs to help them lead more independent lives.

Plus, live music! Catch Gunther Brown at 1:10 and then The Joint Chiefs take the stage at 2:40! I haven't seen Gunther Brown in years and I'm thrilled!

I'll be there with my Labradoodle, Casco and my human family too!
