It runs in the family! This is Brooke, she's 10. She's just like her big sister, 15-year-old Jaden...who also races.

Oh boy. Dad has two daughters in an expensive sport. You thought baseball was expensive? Brooke is a fifth grader at Buxton Center Elementary School.

She had played softball and gymnastics and dance in the past but they started to interfere with racing. She started when she was 8, and her sister had been racing and helped her learn the ropes. They have even raced against each other at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough. Brooke is in the Whiz Kids division, where she won one race and she's hoping to win another...or two.

But again...it's expensive. Brooke is looking for sponsors just like her sister. If you are interested in sponsoring Brooke, here's how to reach her:

Both Brooke and Jaden are grateful to their dad - who has been supporting both of his girls. This is what Brooke wrote about her dad (as she wrote it):
Also thank you to my dad for all the late nights in the shop and taking the time every weekend to work on my car thank you for always making me always feel comfortable and confident about racing and for spending all that money for me and everything I need for racing for bringing me to the track every Saturday and always making sure I am safe in the car and for always there I love you so much dad
Thanks to anyone who can sponsor Brooke!
