9-Year-Old Jacob Gets a Visit From His Favorite Bird at the Hospital

Jacob, who is terminally ill, has touched people from around the country. Today he got a visit from his favorite bird, the penguin.

Jacob from Saco, who loves Christmas, but won't make it to this years holiday, is having an early Christmas. Today he got to see his favorite bird, the penguin.

Thanks to the Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut, they brought up two African Penguins.

Jacob has Stage 4 neuroblastoma, and won't be leaving the Barbara Bush Children's hospital again. His parents asked if people could send him Christmas cards. Christmas is his favorite holiday. According to the hospital, by Wednesday, he'd gotten 42,700 cards from around the country.
