All Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles Locations Closed

According to the Maine Department of the Secretary of State Facebook page, all Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles offices are now closed help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Mainers should go online to take care of things such as license renewals or vehicle registrations, etc.

A date has not yet been set for the BMV to open again.

In the meantime here are just a few of the things the CDC is recommending to protect yourself from the coronavirus at this time:

• Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds.
• Avoid touching your face.
• Clean and disinfect surfaces used often every day.
