Thompson’s Point heard your cries for the return of Moonlight Cinema, and they are making a comeback with an iconic trio for their Halloween Series: "Hocus Pocus," "Beetlejuice," and "The Nightmare Before Christmas.:

Three nights, three movies.

This is all going down October 26-28 at dusk so it may be a wee bit chilly out. I would highly recommend bringing some blankets and layers along with your most comfy chair, and if you’re like me and still aren’t used to the cold weather even after 24 years of Maine-living, I would suggest upgrading your ticket and copping one of their toasty fire pits.

Tickets are only 8 bucks for general admission and perfect for those who are looking for a socially-distant and conscious even here in Portland. It is an “(anti) social” event, after all.

Situated right in their Brick South Beer Garden, there will be a full bar and light concessions available throughout the night, but you can also BYOF. But as far as booze, you can’t bring any of that in but you can go crazy at the bar inside.

Speaking of the bar, you can also upgrade your ticket to include a high top table and four bar stools if you please. Whatever you choose to do, you can get your tickets here. The fire pits are pretty limited, though, so I would act fast if you want that added flare. They’re a ‘hot’ commodity… ha.. haha.

Which movie will you choose? I love some good Hocus Pocus action but, and I don’t know if I should admit this, I’ve never seen Beetlejuice… might have to finally check it out. ‘Tis the season, right?

See you there!
