Can You Host a Foreign Exchange Student?
Have you ever wanted to host a foreign exchange student? It's an amazing experience and there are a lot of opportunities!
International Student Exchange (ISE) fulfills its mission of “Educating Tomorrow’s Leaders” by bringing together foreign teens, volunteer host families, and local American high schools. The ISE exchange program allows students to become familiar with the American way of life by experiencing American schools, families, and communities. American families learn about foreign cultures and make lasting friendships with the students hosted in their homes.
These amazing young people are between the ages of 15-18 and have the appropriate visa, medical insurance, and their own spending money. They come from 70 different countries and have a variety of interests, talents, and hobbies.
Many students are still anxiously awaiting to hear about their host family for the 18/19 school year. Hosting is an amazing experience and an unforgettable time for the whole family. Most people walk away with a new member of the family, new traditions, menu ideas, great memories; and a vacation invitation from abroad. Not to mention it is an incredible opportunity to make the lifelong dream of an international teen come.
So many excellent countries to choose from already.
Do you have room in your home for a student to enrich your life and in turn, help them out immensely?
