Thanks to the folks on the YouTube page Cptn. John's Bar we can see just how big a female lobster can get. In Maine it's illegal to keep female lobsters. The lobstermen are asked to cut a little notch in her tail to let other lobstermen know that she has been caught before, and that this lobster is indeed a female.
