Double Rainbow Video on This Maine Beach Looks Like Something Out of a Movie

You may have heard about the infamous double rainbow that appeared over a popular beach in Maine called Higgins Beach. But have you seen any live footage like this that really shows off how incredible those rainbows really are?

This Facebook video doesn't even look real THAT's how beautiful this day was.

To think that this kind of colorful beauty was created naturally is already incredible. Then to think that we live in a state that is capable of creating this type of natural beauty is even more incredible.

Watching that video makes it look like there's a filter, but there is not! There is even a great part of the video where it looks like it cuts the sky in two, one dark and one light.

What does a double rainbow mean?

According to parade.com, you could say that a double rainbow means a spiritual awakening.

The website notes that two rainbows "may signify the interaction between the physical and spiritual realms, opening the door for awakening. They symbolize growth and trust within yourself."

Did you know that? I didn't.

Is it rare to see a double rainbow?

You probably wouldn't be surprised to know that double rainbows or any number of rainbows at one time is pretty rare.

According to 3dglassesonline.com, "they occur when several rainbows form in the same place at the same time. It takes at least one primary rainbow to generate this sight, as well as several other secondary rainbows."

The website notes that there is always a space between the multiple rainbows. And wow how incredible is it if you see them!
