You would think in the 21st century people would stop robbing banks. The security measures that banks have in place and the ability to put out info on social media makes it extremely likely that a bank robber will get caught.

Someone in Falmouth decided to take the risk by robbing the Cumberland County Teachers Credit Union just after noon Wednesday afternoon.

According to Falmouth Police, the suspect demanded money from one of the tellers without showing a weapon and got away with an undisclosed amount of money. He's a white male, approximately 5’5, 160 pounds and was wearing dark clothing and a black knit hat. He was last seen running north on Gray Road toward Mountain Road.

If you happened to see someone suspicious walking or being picked up by a car shortly after noon near Gray Road, please call the Falmouth Police Department at 781-2300
