It's absolutely wild to think about how quickly everything seemed to change in the last month. And honestly, I consider myself to be one of the lucky ones overall.

I think most people, if we're honest with ourselves, have felt some level of being stressed, anxious, sad, angry, scared or overwhelmed, or some mix of a few of those things or all of them. Some deal with anxiety day in and day out and others may be facing it for the first time.

In a past life, 2013/2014 timeframe, I worked in the mental health field and even studied mental health in college. And I am BY NO MEANS an expert but I did pick up a few things along the way that I'm more than happy to share from my experience with helping clients way back when.

Here's the thing about anxiety, think about a ceiling fan. That represents the stressors, the what-ifs, those thoughts that are overwhelming you. The fan spins faster and faster. The following items are acting like a hand shooting up into that fan in an effort to stop the fan or at the very least, slow it down.
