One viral TikTok video put the Good Stock charm bar in Kennebunk on the map!

Going from two employees to ten employees in two months is serious growth.

Seacoast Online says that's exactly what happened to Mia Gezik's Good Stock charm bar and jewelry store tucked away on Morning Walk Lane in Kennebunk, Maine.

She used to be able to run it on her own with only one other employee. Not after this 14-second TikTok video struck a chord.

Mia spoke to Seacoast Online about the rise in popularity and said it started very innocently.

Mia was in the store and a woman (mmurphy_margo on TikTok) recorded her experience and put it up on TikTok. That was on a Sunday. The shop is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

But when she went to the shop on Wednesday...alone, she was met by a long line of customers waiting for her. This is a video by Mia of the lines she sees now!

How is Good Stock in Kennebunk, Maine, handling their new super success?

Mia told Seacoast Online,

It’s electric. I feel like I have lightning in a bottle right now.

It's not just TikTok that has given Mia the success she's enjoying. It's also Mia and her staff. They go out of their way to talk to you about your day, and your experience. They make sure that you find everything you need to make the charms into a bracelet, a necklace, or an anklet.

How did the charm store Good Stock in Kennebunk, Maine, get its start?

Mia Gezik, the owner, used to sell charms and jewelry traveling around. She would have 'pop-ups' or a one-time stand at fairs, brewers any venue that made sense. She ended 2023 with over 40 events between June and December. That's a lot of traveling! It was time to open up a store.

Another success story from a passionate Mainer! She is one 'charmed' business owner. I know, I know...
