It’s Always a Good Weekend When There’s a New Pixar Movie [VIDEO]

Movie Mom says that 'it's better than Cars 2,' but that's setting the bar pretty low...

But she also pointed out that it has talking cars, so kids will love it. The movie focuses on how Lightning McQueen is getting old, and younger whipper snappers are way faster, and better. So, it's sort of a movie about a car having a mid life crisis. Movie Mom said it also that all it needed was information on a reverse mortgage....but again, talking cartoon cars. Winner, winner chicken dinner.

'Rough Night' is also opening. Great cast with  Scarlett Johansson, Kate McKinnon, Zoë Kravitz and Ilana Glazer. It's basically the female version of 'The Hangover'. It's very raunchy, but even Movie Mom admitted there are some very funny scenes. I don't think these are her favorite kind of movies - but if it made Movie Mom laugh...then I bet you'll crack up.

Then the loser movie of the week is 'The Book of Henry'. She absolutely hated this movie. It's a story of a super smart kid (like genius level) and Movie Mom says she felt manipulated and thought it was just horrible. In fact, it's so bad she is willing to invoke the 'Gothica Rule.' That's where she will spoil the movie for you and save you the anguish if you send her an email. Awesome!

For rental it's 'LEGO Batman', super funny and 'John Wick 2.' A movie that was made by stuntmen for stuntmen. Guess what's really good in it - the stunts.
