Maine Will Get a Real Taste of Summer Next Week

So far, the spring of 2026 has been pretty typical.  We have had a few really nice (almost summer-like) days, a lot of cooler days, and a few days where we got dumped on with rain.

Like I said, a pretty typical spring in New England.

However, it looks like we are going to get a real taste of the summer to come this coming week.

According to the Weather Channel, the next few days will be cooler and wet.  But, starting with the weekend, we are going to have a few really nice days.  Both Saturday and Sunday will be partly sunny with a high around 75 degrees.

Monday will be similar to Saturday and Sunday, but the real summer-like weather starts on Tuesday.  As of today (May 13th) Tuesday is expected to be sunny with a high of around 85 degrees!  If you were planning to take a day off from work or to skip school Tuesday would be the best day to do it.

Unfortunately, it looks like Wednesday and Thursday will be cooler and rainy.  Well, as we all know, you have to take the good with the bad.

At this point, it looks like most of the Memorial Day weekend will be decent.
