You Could Own This Slick-Looking Bright Yellow Maine Ambulance

You know those moments when people cruise around in Ford Crown Vics, the spitting image of cop cars, and you immediately hit the brakes, fearing they're going to pull you over? But guess what? They're not police cars at all!

That's what this surplus vehicle for sale made me think of when I saw it.

According to the Maine Fire Department, Town of Bucksport has posted this surplus on Facebook open for bids! It's a 2008 Ford E-450/AEV Type 3 Ambulance.

Not to mention, it's YELLOW! My favorite color. How cool would it be to drive around in an authentic ambulance.

The post states, that it has 161,300 miles and is in fair/good condition. Bids are started at a minimum of $5,000 and all records will be given.

You are welcome to see it at Bucksport Public Works at 363 Central Street in Bucksport.

Picture it now, you are cruising along the streets in your yellow beauty. Guess how many drivers heads will turn like sunflowers following the sun.

Or you could totally turn it in a camper! How cool is that?

Who wants another normal, run-of-the-mill car just like everybody else.

It's like you'd be road-royalty.

Just do not pretend you're saving anyone, that's a big no-no!
