At a Cracker Barrel in Ohio, 8 year old Myles Eckert found a 20 dollar bill in the parking lot. He sort of wanted a video game - but instead...paid it forward.

He wrote a note and gave it to a soldier having lunch with his family.

The note reads:

'Dear Soldier,

My dad was a soldier. He's in heaven now. I found this 20 dollars in the parking lot when we got here. We like to pay it forward in my family. It's your lucky day! Thank you for your service. Myles Eckert, a gold star kid.'

Myles lost his dad to the war in Iraq when he was just 5 weeks old. Myles said he gave the money to the soldier to honor his dad, Army Sgt. Andy Eckert.

Lt. Col. Frank Dailey looks at Myles note every day and said he was honored by that little boy. It's a day both won't forget anytime soon.
