Maine State Police K9 Leads Troopers Right to Drunk Driver’s Door
When Maine State Police needed to find a drunk driver who fled the scene of an accident, they turned to K9 Ibo who found their man.
On Sunday night shortly after midnight Ibo went on the search for the man who had fled the scene and hour before. Ibo was able to follow the scent from the car to over 3/4 of a mile away right to the front door of where the man was hiding out in Dayton.
21-year-old Eric Carrol was found the be the owner of the car and had been drinking and parting at the house he was found in earlier that night. He was arrested and charged with OUI and leaving the scene of a an accident.
