Cindy Williams is who I want to be when I grow up.

Cindy Williams just turned 60 years old. I share that information not as a shaming tidbit, but as a "you go girl!" tidbit. For 2023, she was in a keepsake calendar! Shelly Rose Photography put together a calendar of 12 incredibly sexy ladies for a fundraiser. When you bought a calendar, the money went to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. But to get into the calendar, you had to be voted in. Cindy Williams was voted Miss September by a landslide.

For being smart, beautiful, and incredibly successful, she was shy about the attention this calendar was getting. Cindy said this when voting was taking place:

Wondering where Lee’s shirts have gone? I’ve been stealing them! Seriously though, I was asked if I wanted to be part of a calendar fundraiser for the fight against breast cancer.… A cause near and dear to my heart. It is being compiled by Shelly Rose photography, which specializes in boudoir photos. They helped me with Lee‘s 33rd anniversary present this year. It’s safe to say he liked it. It is a voting thing. I believe I am by far the oldest potential calendar girl. Representing us mature ladies.

Cindy Williams is a 60-year-old icon who was also recently inducted into the Maine Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame!

It's funny. Cindy Williams and I have a few things in common. We are both in broadcasting and both in the MAB Hall of Fame. I'm 58, she's 60. Here's one thing not in common...I won't be in a sexy calendar anytime soon. Full credit to Cindy, because she has got it going on.  Apparently, when you retire in the Nelson family (Cindy retired two years ago, and Lee a few years earlier), the shirt comes off!

Don't worry, my shirt will stay on when I retire!
