Maine’s Latest Snow Storm Was All About the Fluff in My Yard
You've probably heard the term "fluff factor" when it comes snowfall. The storm that we got on Thursday is all about the fluff at my house.
There's a science to how the snow gets fluffy like this, but really, who cares? This is the kind of snow that even a person like me that loathes winter has to admit is kind of pretty looking. I posted this picture of the snow accumulated on the railing at my house and someone said it looked like cotton candy. They're right, but I wouldn't eat it if I were you.
When I was a kid this was the kind of snow I loved. Perfect for snowball fights, making snowmen and snow angels. As an adult, I appreciate its beauty, but it's still a pain in my rear to deal with.
I've been enjoying looking out the window today watching it fall, but now that it's winding down, I have to go fire up the snowblower and move all of it out of my driveway before it freezes solid and becomes a nightmare for the next storm. Yay!
What did the snow look like where you are? Let's see a picture. Share it with us on our Facebook page.
