Movie Mom’s Reviews. Not Much Thanks to Some ‘Football Game’ [VIDEO]

Movie Mom didn't have a whole lot to recommend this weekend. No one wants to go up against the Super Bowl and the audience THAT'S gonna get. But she did manage to find a couple of good ones.

The first movie Movie Mom liked was 'Black or White' with Kevin Costner.

She liked the subject matter of a bi-racial custody battle and the fact that two Academy Award winning actors star in in. Kevin and Octavia Spencer. She thought it was pretty good.

She's a sucker for submarine movies (her favorite is 'The Hunt for Red October'). 'Black Sea' stars Jude Law and is about a hunt for Nazi gold! All in a boat under the water!

A couple of thrillers are also opening. One is 'Project Almanac'. Look out! It's teenagers with a time machine! Movie Mom was pretty wishy washy about this one. Then there's 'The Loft'. Not screened for critics. So there's that.
