Movie Mom was busy this week with a disaster flick, a Tim Burton movie and a movie you should wait for it to come out on DVD.

Let's start with the disaster movie, 'Deepwater Horizon' with Marc Wahlberg and Kurt Russell. Movie Mom loved the edge of your seat action, but was disappointed that it didn't dive deeper. It is based on a true story of the worst oil spill in US history - and MM wanted more on what happened after....

Next up is another Tim Burton flick, and after the disaster of 'Alice in Wonderland' Movie Mom was skeptical, but very much enjoyed 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children'. Movie Mom did say that since it is rated PG-13, she thought it was a little too much for younger kids and recommended middle school and up.

Then there is a movie based on a true story called, 'Masterminds' with a great cast of  Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis and Zach Galifianakis. However, this has been shelved for years with good reason - it's not very good. Wait for it to come out on DVD.

Or you could stay home and catch the very funny 'Central Intelligence' with The Rock and Kevin Hart - but STAY AWAY from 'Warcraft'. Movie Mom says it's not even worth a rental! Yikes.

Catch all of Movie Mom's reviews when we interviewed her on the morning show.
