Open the Bathroom Door at Portland’s BJ’s Without Using Your Hand

Could this be the new way we open public doors?

In this new world we live in...the covid world, well - things are different. I had to pee in BJ's in Portland before buying pallets of things. When I was done washing my hands for 20 seconds I looked at the door and thought, what the heck is that?

I have been trying to avoid touching handles on doors. I don't know if I really have to, but hell...might as well. So when I saw this sign, it stopped me.

Wait...what? My foot? On what? Oh that thing down there.

So I tried it. I put my foot on the medal thing and pulled the door open. It was very convenient and it worked like a champ. I like this. What an easy fix for a door that swings open. Of course, not sure what to do with a door that has a handle and actually closes - but one small adjustment at a time I suppose.
