Pee-wee Herman Bringing His Big Adventure Tour To Boston In March
It may be hard to believe for some, but Pee-wee's Big Adventure, a silly movie adventure comedy film turns 35 in 2020. And to celebrate that momentous anniversary, Paul Reubens, the individual who plays Pee-wee Herman, will embark on a nationwide tour to celebrate including one stop in Boston at the Orpheum Theater on Saturday, March 28th.
So what can you expect if you attend? An audience filled with Pee-wee fans screening the 35-year-old cult classic film. Following that screening, Pee-wee himself will sit down for a storytelling session where he'll dish on how Pee-wee's Big Adventure came to be, how co-writer Phil Hartman influenced the film and how famed director Tim Burton put his spin on the whole project. VIP packages will allow super fans to get up close and person with Pee-wee, including unique photo ops. Reubens is now 67-years-old, which likely means there won't be many more (if any at all) tours for Pee-wee left.
Will there be a secret word? We don't know, but there should be. An audience of Pee-wee fans in Boston going wild over a secret word sounds like the perfect Spring evening to us.
