Police Arrest Man For Robbery of Auburn Big Apple
A 27-year-old man is in the Androscoggin County Jail after he allegedly robbed the Big Apple store on Main Street in Auburn.
Allegedly, Franklin Dee of Auburn walked into the Big Apple on the morning of October 24, allegedly demanding money and threatening to use a weapon. Dee allegedly got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Allegedly at least until he's proven guilty, but there seems to be plenty of evidence that this guy did it.
Evidence left behind at the store was all police needed to connect Dee to the robbery. They got a search warrant and found him at his residence on High Street where he was arrested and is being held at the Androscoggin County Jail on $5000 bail as he waits on an appearance in court.
Why do people still rob places these days? There are cameras everywhere in the world. I can see four of them from where I am right now. You rob a store or a bank and you WILL get caught. It's only a matter of time.
