Yoga is a great way to relax, breathe, meditate, improve flexibility and get stronger. How would you like to practice your downward dog with actual dogs?!

You can, thanks to the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland (ARLGP). Their next open session with puppies is scheduled for Thursday, February 13th at 5:30 pm.

Cats more your style? No worries, they also feature a yoga session with kittens! The next event is scheduled for Thursday, January 23rd at 5:30 pm.

According to ARLGP's website, "The Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland envisions that pets and people can share a healthy bond of love and kindness."

I think combining these furry friends with yoga is a wonderful way to do that. It's a win-win for everyone involved and hey, maybe before your yoga session is over you'll fall in love with your next best friend.
