I didn't really know Danielle's friends. I got to know Angela and found out her mom has stage 4 breast cancer. She reached out to me for help.

The University Neighborhood Organization is holding a “Vigil of Lights” Memorial Gathering Tuesday, November 11th, 2014 in Longfellow Park from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to honor the victims, survivors, families, friends & responders of the 20 Noyes Street Fire that claimed the lives of six young adults.

Steve Summers is the 6th victim of the tragic fire in Portland on Saturday. He was a 29 year old father of two young girls ages 5 and 9. He had been in critical condition since the fire and was taken off life support. A GoFundMe has been set up for his two little girls.

Diane Mitchell's friend, Mandi, recently had a medical emergency. Diane from Yarmouth says that she has been hooked up to a ventilator for two weeks and has been unconscious for that time. She has four children ranging in age from teenagers to one daugther who is 21. They need help paying their rent, paying for food and paying for medical bills for their Mom.
