There may be towns in Maine that you suspect were named after U.S. presidents. Towns like Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Jackson, Lincoln, and Harrison come to mind. However, not all of the towns actually were named after U.S. presidents.

The towns of Norway, South Paris, Oxford, and Harrison all have favorites of mine that are as good if not better than any you'll find in Portland, and the parking is free.

Maine breweries landed in the top 30 three times, and New Hampshire once. Take a look and see if your favorite craft brewery is among the best in the country.
