After receiving over 2,000 entries the Maine Department of Transportation has narrowed the field down to 60 in their #MyMaineSign Message Board Contest. We think it's great how fun and creative these digital message boards have become to get safety messages across to people on Maine highways. MDOT had a brilliant idea to have the public put in their ideas.
The Bangor PD have done it again with this Facebook post of an awesome homemade street sign made from a sled. You know spring is around the corner when the potholes and frost heaves kick in and the use of sliders and sleds begins to wane. This was found in Charleston, Maine
This can't be a coincidence can it? I've seen two of these signs in the past month that aren't displayed with the arrow at the top of the sign as you'd expect.
