Stephen King, the iconic American author, is not only leaving his home in Maine, but turning it into something spectacular!

Would you hide in your home and hope for the best? Journey to some rural, uninhabited area and live out the rest of your days on the land? Invade a grocery store, Walmart, or Costco with your buddies to wait things out in relative security?

It began as a small flash mob in Portland's Monument Square in 2012, and has grown to include over 100 dancers that draw big crowds each year before Halloween.

After going to Cinemagic in Westbrook and seeing the movie "The Invisible Man," I have to say I am impressed.

If you're an aspiring horror film maker, getting to adapt a Stephen King short story for the screen would be a pretty kick-ass way to begin, right?

This Thursday in Congress Square Park, creatures will crawl in search of blood, to terrorize y'all's neighborhood. OK so, there won't be any blood or terrorizing but there will be 20 or so performers gathering and performing for your entertainment from 5:30 to about 6pm

Zombies will gather in Monument Square to dance to Michael Jackson's Thriller.
