The New Dunkin’ on St. John Street in Portland is Now Open

In April of 2019, Lang's Express Chinese Restaurant on St. John Street in Portland closed its doors after 25 years to make way for a new Next Gen Dunkin'.

On Monday, that new Dunkin' opened for business.

After months of construction including the demolition of the old Lang's Express and construction of the new modern Dunkin', the store is now open, replacing the former Dunkin' next door.

The Next Gen Dunkin' comes with lot of new features, some of them much needed, like 24 parking spaces versus the 8 at the old store. There's more space in the parking lot now so that people parked don't get blocked in by long lines at the drive-thru.

Rather then exiting onto Valley Street at the back of the store, customers at the drive-thru now exit back onto St. John Street making it much more convenient and less congested.

The new store even had a dedicated lane for On the Go orders, so there's no more waiting in the drive-thru lane when you order ahead on the Dunkin' app. Just drive up to the window and pick up your order.

Big changes for the Dunkin' on St. John Street all for the better!
