It's that time of year when a road trip to Salem, Massachusetts is absolutely in order to see all the spooky characters running around the streets.

However, while you've got this fun road trip planned this October, so do hundreds of other people at the same time.

October might be the trickiest time to try to travel into the middle of the city due to the high demand of New Englanders trying to see all the weirdos running around in wild costumes. But that doesn't mean it's impossible to make it there, you just have to do it right.
