What do pets do when we leave them alone? That's the big mystery. Movie Mom reviews the new movie, 'The Secret Life of Pets' which answers the question.

The one thing that bugged Movie Mom about 'The Secret Life of Pets' is how much it ripped off 'Toy Story'. Instead of toys, it's pets. But she did very much enjoy the charm, the brightness and did warn that some things happened to pets that little kids (under 7) may find upsetting. The voice talent is brilliant with Louis C.K. as the hero dog Max.

The other big movie out is 'Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates'. This is a super duper raunchy disgusting movie. The best part? It's based on a true story! Two brothers who are serious bros need 'nice girls' as dates for their sister's wedding. So, they advertise on Craig's List. Of course they do. The movie got to the point where all you say is, 'No they didn't!' and she found it exhausting. But, Movie Mom loves everyone in this film (including Maine's own Anna Kendrick) however - be a grown up, cuz it's nasty!

Then there is a scary movie called 'Lights Out' and per usual...you're on your own for that one!

There are also a couple of really good tweenager movies out on DVD. That age group doesn't get a enough good movies: 'Dear Eleanor' and 'Emma's Chance'.
