Being a girl in Maine in the winter time SUCKS sometimes. Especially because we like to go up to camp where if you're a real New Englander you know you're about to gamble whether or not you're going to have heat once you get up there.

We typically carry so many different products in our purses and gym bags that we have to remember to stay cognizant of leaving them in the car (or camp) when temperatures are freezing.

If you're anything like me, you use your car as your second closet which means backup makeup and products in your center console. Makeup and most good skin care products are expensive so let's take a look at some makeup and products prone to freezing overnight that you may have never thought about before.

1️⃣ Will foundation freeze in the car overnight?

Yes. Liquid foundation will get damaged. According to makeuptalk, most foundation is made with water, which obviously will freeze and ruin the consistency. Any gel,cream or liquid based makeup's will not thaw the same way they froze and you'll end up tossing them.

2️⃣ Will hairspray freeze overnight in the car?

Hairspray & body sprays. These are actually so prone to freezing, they'll just explode from the inside out due to the propellant expanding inside the can (I learned that in middle school who knew I'd actually use that fact one day).

Ozempic Pens. If you're on the trending Ozempic train lately, don't leave your pen full of semaglutide in your car overnight this winter. It will freeze, and you will have to buy a new one. According to drugs.com, Ozempic should stay refrigerated until the first time you use it. You should keep it in the refrigerator (between 36°F to 46°F or 2°C to 8°C) when it’s new and unused.
