I'm always skeptical about things like this, but I have to admit, I can see the elephant.

Easy Hike to The Elephant Rock
Visit White Mountains website says that you can hike to the top of the Elephant Rock's head. It is a bit rugged, steep, and muddy, but it is only about a third of a mile each in each direction, and when you get to the top, you get an amazing view of Crawford Notch, looking north and south. It's not a difficult hike for people who can walk uphill without any issues. Just make sure you have a bag of peanuts for the elephant when you get there. Kidding.
