I'm just gonna go ahead and say it, the Fryeburg Fair is the Big Daddy out of all the fairs in Maine. It's the one everybody gets excited for, and it always closes out the fair season as the last one to come to town in Maine.

Today was one of the coolest experiences I've had in my radio career so far as I got to meet tons of our Q97.9 listeners from the fairgrounds.

At the same time, we got to broadcast live while spinning around on the Ferris Wheel... a bucket list activity to cross off (shout out to our awesome engineer Drew for making this possible).

But an even more rewarding experience was meeting the young ladies who came out to hang with us at the tent. Full circle on this one, a bunch of girlies I had met a few months back while hosting Girls On The Run came over to say hello. I was able to put a smile on their faces after telling them I'll be back again in November to host the next GOTR.

When is the next Girls On The Run?

The Fall 5k is going to be Sunday, November 12 in Brunswick at the Brunswick Rec/Landing starting at 8:30am-10am. I'm excited for this next one as it'll be my second GOTR that I'm honored to host.

If you haven't signed up for the November run, you still can hear. I'd love to see you there :)
