Seriously...is this a thing?

I have heard of bitcoin, but only as a 'fad' or a 'bad investment'. Is it enough of a thing that they need their own ATMs?

I had to be somewhere, otherwise, I would have swung around and looked for this thing. I looked it up, apparently 1 bitcoin = $3,903.15.

What?

According to Wikipedia,

Bitcoin has been criticized for its use in illegal transactions, its high electricity consumption, price volatility, thefts from exchanges, and the possibility that bitcoin is an economic bubble. Bitcoin has also been used as an investment, although several regulatory agencies have issued investor alerts about bitcoin.

You need an ATM for that? Has anyone seen this ATM? Better yet...has anyone USED this ATM?

So many questions:

  • does it look like a regular ATM
  • does it actually give you something or just move currency electronically
  • is there a physical actual touchable bitcoin
  • do I sound 90 years old asking these things?
