You may think I'm crazy - but if you are looking for the hot toys this year for Christmas, you better start now. Here are ways to be way ahead of the game!
Anything from the movie 'Frozen' is going to be the hottest and hardest to get your hands on. Here are some tricks to make sure you aren't left explaining to your five year old how Santa Claus doesn't love them:
- Find out what the hot toys are from TTPM (a toy review site) for 2014
- Sign up to stores Twitter feeds - and keep checking those aisles
- Get the TTPM app to get email notifications when a sold-out toy becomes available online
- Toy Insider lists all the toy discounts for the Thanksgiving weekend
- Stores tend to get new shipments on Thursday and Friday, so check online and in-store then
- The classics like wooden toy trains will be more available at larger retail stores like Target this year
- Get rewards from Toys R Us and Target to get money back and coupons no one else gets!
Now you are fully armed and loaded to make this Christmas less hectic, less tears and more - 'You're the best parents in the world!'
