Growing up in Maine is not for the faint of heart. We're strong, creative, innovative, one with nature, adventurous, have great taste in rare foods, and give zero Fs. Excuse my language, but as I said, we are a strong people. Kind of like Vikings, but with Moxie in our blood.

It's not just about moose and lobster and our accent. It's about specific and hilarious ways you know you're a Mainer.

I was born in Pennsylvania but bred here in Maine. I was able to experience all that this state has to offer. When I traveled to visit my family in Pennsylvania, they would ask me the most awkward questions, like "Do you ride a moose to school?", "Are there porta-potties at the end of every street?", "Why do you say 'wicked' so much?"
