New England’s Only Food Truck Park is Now Open for the 2024 Season in Maine

New England Food Truck Park Now Open

New Englanders and our visitors love a good food truck.  I mean, who doesn't?  After all, the weather is warm enough to actually stay outside comfortably for only about four or five months out of the year, so eating from a food truck is very appealing.  Lucky for us, Congdon's After Dark Food Truck Park is now open.

If you aren't familiar with the park, it's in the parking lot of Congdon's Donuts on Route 1 in Wells, Maine.

The event has become a "must" for locals and visitors since it began in 2017.  The park has up to 10 food trucks with lots of choices for all.  If you're like me, you have to visit more than one vendor.

Food is served primarily from 4-8pm, with some trucks staying open until 9 or 10pm.

Yes, There is a Beer Garden

This event is fun for the whole family.  When I hear that, I don't know about you, but I always think, "Oh great.  No booze."  But no!  There is a beer garden featuring New England brands, live music, and entertainment for the kids.  Admission and parking is free with plenty of seating outside, or inside if you prefer.  If you want to eat, then head to the beach (or vice-versa), as the Food Truck Park is located less than two miles from Wells Beach.

If you happen to miss the Food Truck Park hours, you are sure to find something to do on Route 1.  Most towns along the Seacoast of New Hampshire and Maine have great places to stop.
