Scarborough native and actor Greg Finley was back home this week on Custom House Wharf in Portland preparing to shoot a new film.

Finley is probably most know for his role as Jack Pappas on the ABC Family series The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

He's also made several guest appearances on other shows since Teenager, including a role as the DC Comics villain Grider on The CW's The Flash.

According to the Portland Press Herald, Finley has teamed up with cinematographer Edwin Stevens of Kennebunk to shoot an independent film in Portland called Summer Sunday. Finley plays a lobsterman and former boxer with a past of crime and corruption.

Finley posted a video to his Instagram page, from Custom House Wharf on Wednesday where it appears he and a film crew were scoping out a scene in which his character will be jogging.

He takes a moment to walk down to the water where a seagull lands on a lobster trap which he claims to have trained to do "at the perfect moment."
