When you see kids waving those car wash signs on the side of the road for their fundraiser, do you stop for a wash? The Maine State Police do.

Trooper Nunez of Maine State Police Troop D based out of Augusta took the time to stop and get his cruiser washed at a local boys soccer team's fundraiser.

It's that time of year where all kinds of great local organizations put on car wash fundraisers. It's a great way to help your community and get a sparkling fresh wash clearing all that bird crap off your car.

We're sure Trooper Nunez, likely donating out of his own pocket, put a smile on these kids faces when he came through the was line.
