When Ana Colvin joined three different tumbling teams at Elite All-Stars Cheer & Dance in August, her mom Emily just thought she was kicking up her involvement in tumbling; they didn't anticipate heading to Orlando, Florida come March.

One of Ana's teams, The Rockets, were Elite All-Stars studio's very first youth national team. The girls watched videos all year of the teams they hoped to beat and dreamt of making it into the top ten. Well, they blew their expectations out of the water when they placed 4th at NCA Nationals in Dallas.

Upon returning to Maine, they continued their streak, placing 1st at the Epic Competition in Providence, RI and receiving the high score award for the whole competition (including other age groups!). If that weren't enough, they were the Grand Champions of the day. The following Tuesday, the team found out they received a Gold Bid to US Finals in Virginia Beach and the WILDCARD bid to the D2 Summit in Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Ana's mom made it clear the girls deserved their good fortune.

"These young girls spend 25-35 hours a week at the gym and their hard work has really paid off. We are so very proud of them," Emily said.

Given the last minute admission to compete in the D2 Summit, the Rockets didn't anticipate having to pay for plane tickets to Florida! You can help them get there by donating to the team here or donate directly to Ana;s family through facebook. Good luck to our Rockets, blow 'em outta the water!
