Open Letter: Please Do Not Drink Hand Sanitizer

You'll never believe what I just read today; according to the CDC, people are having seizures and even dying from ingesting hand sanitizer. From May until June 30th, there were 15 fatal incidents of ingesting this alcohol-based substance. People are doing this as a way to 'clean their insides' and make sure there is no Coronavirus or any other bacteria, and some people may be under the impression that because it is alcohol that makes it safe. We now know this not to be accurate, you don't put every type of Gas in your vehicle, you put in the stuff that's designed for it, same with alcohol and the human body. 13 of the 15 victims were men Age ranges from 21 to 65.

How does one get the idea that drinking hand sanitizer to prevent is sickness is it OK? According to the CDC, the incidents in question took place right after the President talked about ingesting sanitizers and other substances to get rid of the virus. "I see the disinfectant that knocks it out in a minute," PresidentTrump said. Now to be fair, the patients who have recovered never actually said they did because president trump said this said to do so, nor did most of the country think that the President was serious in telling people to drink hand sanitizer but surprise!

World-renowned disinfectant maker Lysol responded to that statement by the President with this quote, "We must be clear that under no circumstance should our disinfectant products be administered into the human body (through injection, ingestion or any other route)." so there you have it now if you're reading this and you're wondering why anyone would do such a thing?
