Portland Resident Gets Critter Visitors in Backyard, but What Are They?

This video popped up in my Facebook news feed and I was instantly fascinated! A viewer of News Center Maine sent a video she captured in her backyard of some kind of critters visiting her back yard. She lives in Portland but, not sure where in town.

To me I thought that they are foxes. But, when you look closer, not so much. It almost looks like a hybrid of a fox and a dog? Can that even happen?
