Vaughan Woods

"Is this not one of the prettiest places in country?" Yup, it sure is! Sometimes we need an outta statah to help us not take this uniquely beautiful state for granted. Thanks for reminding us Eric.

In the winter, Vaughan's Woods takes on a whole new air. The flow of water has slowed to a trickle and icicles have formed against the stone dam and bridges.

The hiking trails at Vaughan Woods are some of the most whimsical paths in Maine. Locals even call it Hobbit Land for it's resemblance to the make believe place from the books.
