Portland, Maine has become a must destination for cruise ships. These massive boats can be seen from Commercial Street, and it is an amazing site to see. But, you have never seen them this way before!
According to the Portland Press Herald, studies show that in 2017 there is expected to be 423 ships to port in Maine. And, to bring an expected 380,275 passengers. And, studies show this trend to keep going up in the future with ever more ships and passengers to our city.
Cruise ships are so big, like mini cities inside them! It is amazing that those ships can fit through our port. They do move slow, but these cool time lapse videos make them look like toys on the water that move so fast!
