This Maine Police Department’s April Fools’ Joke Was Clever And Hilarious

It's always great to see that even the Police can have a pretty good sense of humor sometimes. I think it's safe to say that the Fryeburg Police Department won April Fools' Day in Maine today, with the following post from this morning:

The post combines two of my favorite things - a great prank, and a clever pun. In an age where most people skim through their social media feeds very quickly and miss most of the details, I bet a lot of people were thinking that this was an actual traffic situation. But those who read it for a couple seconds longer and got the joke no doubt appreciated it.
